SlayTrolls (slaytrolls.com) is an AI-powered Facebook comment moderation service that helps Filipino businesses and page administrators protect their Facebook Pages from troll activity. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
By connecting your Facebook Page or using our service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
- Page Administrators ("Customers") — business owners or social media managers who connect their Facebook Pages to SlayTrolls.
- Commenters — Facebook users whose public comments on a connected Page are processed by our AI.
- Website Visitors — anyone who visits slaytrolls.com.
2. Data We Collect
From Page Administrators (via Facebook OAuth)
- Facebook Page ID
- Page Access Token — allows us to read comments and hide troll comments via the Facebook Graph API
- Your Facebook User ID and display name
- Email address — for account communication and billing
From Facebook Commenters (via the Facebook Graph API)
- Facebook User ID and display name of the commenter
- Comment text, timestamps, comment ID, and post ID

- Behavioral pattern data (frequency, language patterns, repeat offenses)
- Moderation action logs (flagged, hidden, or cleared comments)

We do not sell your data or commenter data to third parties. Ever.
4. Facebook Platform Data Usage
SlayTrolls accesses Facebook data exclusively through the Facebook Graph API and Facebook OAuth, in compliance with Meta Platform Terms and Meta Developer Policies.
- We only request permissions necessary to read Page comments and hide troll comments.
- We access Page data only for Pages whose administrators have explicitly authorized SlayTrolls via Facebook OAuth.
- We do not store Facebook Access Tokens in plain text — all tokens are encrypted at rest.
- We do not use Facebook data for advertising, data brokering, or unrelated profiling.
- Users may revoke SlayTrolls' access at any time through their Facebook Business Integrations settings.

6. Your Rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data within 30 days.
- Object — object to the processing of your data. Disconnect your Page at any time.
- Portability — request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- File a Complaint — with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines.

7. Data Security
- Encryption at rest for all stored Access Tokens and sensitive data
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all data
- Access controls limiting internal access on a need-to-know basis
- In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and the NPC per the Data Privacy Act of 2012
8. Children's Privacy
SlayTrolls is a business service for Facebook Page administrators. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover we have, we will delete it immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and notify active customers via email or dashboard notice.
